On April 11, representatives from the Gramado Film Festival participated in the first Festival Chega, held at Estúdios Globo, in Rio de Janeiro. Big names in the audiovisual market were present to discuss the social and commercial impact of the content, technologies, artificial intelligence among several other topics, distributed in panels. The delegation was also invited to visit the studios of the soap opera “No Rancho Fundo”, a new plot that occupies the 6pm slot on the Rio station.
“It was an event aimed at the market, where the Gramado Festival has an important space, and we were able to discuss the present and future of Brazilian productions, going through partnerships, market trends, in addition to debating series, addressing new narratives, platforms and the use of technologies. We had many exchanges, connections and contacts to hold this year’s Festival, which should present new features”, said Tatiana Ferreira, director of events at Gramadotur, the municipal authority responsible for the city’s events. Engineer Raphael Almeida was also present.
