The organization of the Gramado Film Festival announces that registrations for the Prêmio Assembleia Legislativa de Cinema – Mostra Gaúcha de Curtas and for the Mostra de Longas-Metragens Gaúchos are open and will continue until 11:59 pm on May 15th.
“Gauchão” consecrates the partnership between the Gramado Film Festival and the Legislative Assembly of the State of Rio Grande do Sul, which together promote, for the 21st time, the competitive exhibition of short films produced in the State. Participants compete for the trophy in 11 categories: Best Film, Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Direction, Best Screenplay, Best Photography, Best Editing, Best Art Direction, Best Music, Best Sound Editing and Best Executive Production.
Maintaining its commitment to local productions, Gramado reinforces the partnership established with the Secretary of State for Culture and the State Institute of Cinema in awarding the Sedac/Iecine Award for Gaúcho Feature Films. Participating films compete for Kikito in ten categories: Best Film, Best Direction, Best Screenplay, Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Cinematography, Best Art Direction, Best Editing, Best Sound Design and Best Musical Score.
“We are keeping the exhibitions focused on Rio Grande do Sul’s audiovisual production, increasing them and providing more and more visibility and feedback. We are grateful to the partnerships with the Legislative Assembly, the Department of Culture and Iecine, which provide us with this maintenance”, says Rosa Helena Volk, president of Gramadotur, the municipal authority responsible for the Festival.
Registration forms are available on the website www.inscricoescinema.com.br. All rules and criteria for participating in the selection are set out in the regulations, which will be available on the Festival website (www.festivaldecinemadegramado.com)
