On August 9th, the Festivals Palace will once again host the Children’s Exhibition. Composing the parallel sessions of the Gramado Festival, the exhibition aimed at children has a new title: “Abá e sua Banda”. The animation, directed by Humberto Avelar, will have a world premiere for students from the city’s municipal education network. In two sessions, at 8:30 am and 2 pm, the little ones will follow the adventures of Abá, a young prince in conflict with his dreams and his responsibilities. Afterwards, the film team participates in a chat with the children.
Parallel programming also includes the Accessible Exhibition and Cinema nos Bairros. Available for free on the festival website from August 12th to 18th and with full accessibility, the Accessible Exhibition is made up of three titles from Rio Grande do Sul: “Céu Aberto”, by Elisa Pessoa, “Legalidade”, by Zeca Brito, and “Uma Carta Para Santa Claus”, by Gustavo Spolidoro. In partnership with Globo Filmes, Cinema nos Bairros will show the film “Perlimps”, by Alê Abreu, in seven sessions in different schools in the city.
